Morocco
Embarking on an enriching journey across Morocco, our mentorship group of students eagerly set out to immerse ourselves in a blend of cultural exploration, charitable endeavours, and intellectual discourse. Led by our dedicated mentors, we embarked on a transformative adventure that would leave an indelible mark on each of us.
Our travels across Morocco were not merely about sightseeing, they were about engaging with the local communities and making a meaningful impact. At a school in a rural village, we rolled up our sleeves and delved into charity work, sharing needed essentials, organizing educational workshops, and fostering connections with the students. Through these efforts, we not only contributed to the improvement of their learning environment but also forged lasting bonds of friendship and mutual understanding.
Amidst our philanthropic activities, we also had the opportunity to participate in a young United Nations debate, where we tackled pressing global issues and honed our skills in diplomacy and public speaking. Guided by our mentors, we engaged in spirited discussions, exchanged diverse perspectives, and worked collaboratively to propose innovative solutions to complex challenges. The experience instilled in us a sense of empowerment and civic responsibility, igniting a passion for effecting positive change in the world.
Throughout our journey, our mentors served as a source of inspiration and guidance, encouraging us to step out of our comfort zones, embrace new experiences, and embrace the spirit of adventure. Whether navigating bustling souks, scaling desert dunes, or engaging in meaningful conversations with locals, our mentor’s unwavering support and wisdom enriched our journey and fuelled our personal growth.
As we bid farewell to Morocco, we departed with hearts full of gratitude, memories etched in our minds, and a newfound sense of purpose. Our mentor’s leadership, coupled with the collective enthusiasm of our group, transformed a mere excursion into a life-changing odyssey—one that left an indelible imprint on our hearts and minds, shaping us into compassionate, globally-minded citizens ready to make a difference in the world.

Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Futures is a new project run by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, funded by Rocket Science UK, on behalf of the mayor’s Office for policing and crimes, and Violence Reduction Unit’s ‘Stronger Futures Programme’. The Stronger Futures programme enables community-led groups to support 8–18-year-old Londoners most in-need, providing them with skills, opportunities, and support in the hours afterschool, which, evidence suggests, is a high-risk period for becoming involved in, or a victim of, violence. We will work to improve the educational outcomes, employability prospects, mental health, and wellbeing of young people at risk or involved in violence.

Sports Day
Village Mentality hosted a sports day based around positive masculinity. Our mentoring program intertwines the essence of positive masculinity and fatherhood with the vibrancy of sports, culminating in an enriching sports day. Fathers and father figures stand as pillars of guidance, leading by example as they mentor the next generation of young men. Through various athletic activities, we foster teamwork, perseverance, and respect, instilling values that extend far beyond the playing field. Together, fathers and sons forge bonds that strengthen familial ties and cultivate a deeper understanding of what it means to embody positive masculinity.
